  Pozzolanic Rock  
 

Pozzolanic rock is one of the industrial ores in which the island of Milos is abundant. Pozzolanic rock is the product of volcanic action and violent tectonic forces. Its main attribute is the pozzolanic properties, because of which it is used by the cement industry and for the manufacture of structural products.
Its specific weight is 1,4 gr/cm
3 and moisture varies between 14 - 22%.
